After careful contemplation I decided to just get a whole CP instead of fixing the one I have. It already has the overlay, the joystick, the wiring, etc. Plug and play. I will work on the original in my spare time (ha!) but at least that piece of the puzzle is done.

I’ve actually started sourcing parts for this beastie. Bought a Stargate ROM board off eBay yesterday.
